Zante’s Most Famous Attractions

Marathonisi Island

Marathonisi or “Turtle Island” is a small islet south of Keri and Laganas bay. Access is by boat, either rented and driven by you or as part of an organized tour. There are two main beaches, one a pebble beach and one sandy where the sea turtles lay their eggs.

Cameo Island

Cameo island can be accessed via a small wooden bridge in the port of Agios Sostis. The island itself is quite small and picturesque adding to a feeling of exclusivity. There is a bar on the island along with both a sandy and rocky beach.

Blue Caves

Named such because of the reflection in the water of the caves, you can reach these marvels via rented boat or as part of a guided tour. They are very close to the most northern point of the island and most are easily accessible.
